We subject ourselves to external information and feed it into our internal narrative. Whatever resonates and reminds us of our true essence, will ring brightly. Whatever brings discomfort, is a message to sit with that discomfort and allow any blockages to reveal themselves and permit us to release that which does not serve our truth.
Opinions from others often have the potential to shape who we believe we are, or believe we need to be, which can have both positively influential and detrimental effects on how we function from our core Being: our true essence. With both out of sync, this can raise conflict of interest where opinion confronts true essence.
If we do not know ourselves, that is, what we represent, then we will continuously seek validation beyond our inherent understanding and reach for confusing illusory ideals.
To get to know ourselves, we must not be afraid to encounter whatever expressions arise when we turn our gaze and journey inwards with compassion and trust.
If you cannot be alone, you resist a journey that carries promise of restorative healing beyond your soul. As a form of placation, I assure you that we are never truly alone, trust me. What is more, you will reintegrate with the world in a significant way, should you reside fully in your own essence and presence.
Staying present and holding space, for thoughts, feelings and sensations to ebb and flow means bringing awareness with the Observer. The Observer is a part of you, but it is not reactionary and stimulated in the same way as the familiar ego interpretations. To begin with, The Observer interrelates a breadth and depth of existence beyond measure, having power to prompt us with faint recollection of an intrinsic primal instinct. Thus, mirroring Creation itself - for we are Co-Creators here: allies for Great Spirit and All that Is.
This is no easy feat by all accounts, but getting comfortable with being uncomfortable for the duration of your contract - where you are responsive not only in a state of separation, but also focused on Loving unification with Source - could lead to breakthrough experiences. When we build life around meditative rituals intentionally focused on healing, there may come expansion of consciousness.
We identify ourselves from historic records stored in the mind, present experience and future projections. These limit and bind us, but can also support the pathway of life lessons gained, perhaps giving form to aspects of our character and behaviour - if we care to tend to them.
We are more than the mind, yet we are becoming increasingly head-heavy as a species.
We invest in concepts that define separation. We create division merely by attaching identity to each and every thing. From the idea of individual definitions of a person, to the naming of objects and experiences in the material world. The language we use creates an us and them, here and there mentality that switches point of reference between internal and external stimuli, data and experience. And when in a state of separation, fear (borne of ego-mind), has potential to make greater impact on a multitude of energetic systems, particularly the macro-cosmic psyche (Collective Human Consciousness), as much as the micro-cosmic psyche (personal level of experience).
Think, for example, of the implications of fear-mongering in a society (either real or perceived), then bring awareness to the discourse that then entails.
This relay between micro- & macro-spheres creates vibrations. And if that vibration is borne to fear, then fear will evolve. Now imagine what can happen if we attune to something harnessed by Loving intention! If fear can divide, then surely Love can multiply, right?
All information is relative. What we acquire through interaction with external stimuli, can reshape and reform our belief structure - this is known as confirmation bias. What we seek, we shall find (this also follows the principle of where attention goes, energy flows).
This applies to how we perceive ourselves and the world. For example, if we view our experience from a victim perspective, where our perception is truly conquered by egoistic information, we confirm our identity as victim by drawing in energetic and vibrational information to confirm our bias and then act accordingly.
Of course, a victim is a victim for a reason. There is no condemnation for the ways in which we appear. Indeed, there are undulations of compassion and understanding, but it is important to reinforce and reflect that these states are illusionary and not fixed. They do somewhat, confine us to the notion of separation and subscribe to a conditioned state of a condition (in similar ways to how accepted norms seemingly materialise).
How we follow non-consensual norms blindly - rather than lead by our own example - raises many questions, but the answers are not for my revelation. Instead, I invite you to sit-in and listen to your truth behind the veil of implication. This is an exercise that demonstrates the energetic ripple effects of manifested Will.
Who are you beyond influence? Permit your heart to speak clearly. Heed the messages that transpire, in whatever form they take - be that a sudden inspired thought, overheard conversation, lyrics in a song, a phrase in a book, follow surprising events that arise - to confirm what you have come to understand. Record your findings. Follow the white rabbit ... All it takes is a tweak to our antennae!
The entirety of Being comes alive and you are able to come to familiarise yourself as not only identifying as separate, you come to understand, that you are I, and I am you.
One is All. All is One.
Ometeotl.
